lunch time menu right up there as best value in bath (resident for 25 years) proper restaurant service 3 courses 9.95 plus max 2.95 for more involved mains ie veal cutlet /wild mushroom sauce no exes for veg enough on plate for lunch.wine fine 14-25 for usual suspects.very nice host /service starters i think are truly excellent for price ie frito misto (plenty big enough) grilled veg with italian meats all on there own style plates excellent value. also check out bistro barrique brilliant value for lunch i have plenty more good tips its just getting round to writing them

We had a nice evening at Mezzaluna, but it was more to do with the quantity of wine and enjoying each others company than anything else. Mussels to start were a good size and reasonable price, my main course steak was very mediocre and eating it was hindered by a blunt steak knife, I asked for a replacement, however this was just as bad, my hands got so sore my other half ended up cutting it up for me! Tiramisu, usualy my favourite desert was sloppy and had been out of the fridge too long! Sorry.
